So I decided after a year of having this blog that I would actually try to use it. My friend Heather told me I need to start posting the things I have made online, so here we go.... Hopefully posting my crafts will make me feel a little better about the amount of time I spend on Pinterest.
I have been wanting to do this for a while but finally got around to it when we moved. We don't have a lot of money to spend on decorating so making these held me over for a little bit. Really I don't think it is hard to figure out how I did it but I will explain anyways. So I bought two of the 1 gallon anchor hocking jars from Walmart $7.44 a piece. I had some unused black vinyl from expressionsvinyl.com so I used the lemonade cricket cartridge to cut out the lettering. I already had the other two jars and I believe I bought them at Walmart or Dollar General.
Nathanial and I painted the hutch together two and half years ago before we got married. The painting was definitely not professional but it was a fun experience. Nathanial's mother found the hutch at a yard sale. That year I found a hutch painted like this at the covered bridge festival and fell in love. I think Nathanial was a little skeptical about painting it but overall he loved the results, I since a little pride too.
